No, we face input shortages 5% of the time or more

This question can be articulated more precisely based upon your environment:

• Purchase-to-Order: Are all inputs available one lead-time before the committed due date at least 95% of the time?
• Purchase-to-Stock: Are all inputs in stock at least 95% of the time?
• Distributor: Are there 5% or less stock-outs among running items?
• Restaurant: Are all ingredients available (and fresh) at least 95% of the times when a customer places an order?

If in doubt ASK YOUR OPERATIONS IN-CHARGE OR PLANNING HEAD ... if STILL in doubt the answer is NO!
